WASTEWATER TREATMENT FACILITY
SUPERINTENDENT
The Portage Lake Water and Sewage
Authority (PLWSA) seeks applications for
the Superintendent Position at its
wastewater treatment facility serving
Houghton and Hancock Michigan. This
position reports to the PLWSA BOARD and
is responsible for facility operation
and maintenance and for supervision of
several other employees. Requirements
include a Class B Michigan Wastewater
Operator’s License, 6 years experience
in operation of an activated sludge
treatment facility, formal education and
training in wastewater treatment, and
experience using personal computers and
software. This position offers a
competitive salary commensurate with
qualifications and experience, and
